June 28th Lancaster Speedway This night featured the autograph session which is a highlight for many people Barton Motorsports had stickers and suckers for the kids. A great night for racing with 20 mods in the pits. The first heat saw the #8 of Brett Scherrer take the victory and the 2nd heat had the #81 of Bill Mislin. The pair would lead the feature down to the green. Larry Jackson and the Barton Motorsports team would start in the 13th position. The race would be run fast with Putney getting the through the field to take the lead early. The caution would fly for a few minor spins to bunch the field but wouldn't take anyone out of the race. At the finish all 20 cars would be running. On the second restart Jackson would lose 5 positions and never recover ending the night in 14th place. All in all it was a good night with no major problem.
