May 17th Lancaster Speedway

A good night of racing with an overcast night. The track had a problem with water entering turn three at the start of the night but seem to be fine by the end of the night. The heats were run without many problem with Larry Jackson and the Barton Motorsports team taking the first heat and Dave wollaber taking the second heat. Come feature time Jackson and Wollaber would start in the same positions as last week but unfortunately the night wouldn't be as good for Jackson. Wollaber was able to take the lead early. The caution would fly for a spin on the back chute with Flanigan collecting the wall no one else would be collected in the incident. Troyer would soon be black flagged for a smoking car as the race resumed. The night would run quite clean except for a few minor spins to group the cars back together. The top 6 ran nose to tail for quite sometime but no one seem to be able to make many moves. Staubitz was able to get around Wollaber for the lead around lap 18 and would hold on for the win at the end followed by Wollaber, Putney, Alex and Fidanza rounding out the top 5. In post race inspection Staubitz car was found to be to heavy on the left side and the win was awarded to Wollaber.
